Domain transfer status TRANSFER INITIATED  Print this Article

In order to confirm the transfer of a gTLD, the domain holder and in some cases the Admin-C receives an e-mail. This is sent to the e-mail address stored in the Whois data. The transfer is started by clicking on the confirmation link contained therein. The domain then changes to the status TRANSFER STARTED.

If you have not received an e-mail, please also check the SPAM folder of your e-mail provider. Alternatively, please contact our support so that we can resend the e-mail.

If the e-mail address in the Whois data is no longer current, please update it first with the previous registrar. If the change occurs after the transfer has been initiated, please provide us with information afterwards so that we can resend the e-mail. This is only possible as long as the domain is in TRANSFER INITIATED status.

If the current registrar does not explicitly agree or disagree, the transfer will automatically be completed on day 6 after the email confirmation.
