b) Use of the Support Ticket System
To submit support requests, you must create a user account on this website. In doing so, we collect the following data:

  • Email address (for verification and communication)

  • Content of your support tickets
  • Date and time of ticket creation and processing
  • IP address for the prevention of misuse

This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract/pre-contractual measures), as the data is necessary to provide free support for the plugin.

3. Analytics Tools and Web Tracking

a) Matomo (formerly Piwik))
This website uses Matomo, an open-source web analytics tool. The data collected (e.g. IP address, visit duration, pages viewed) is stored on our server and is not shared with third parties.

  • Purpose: Analysis of user behaviour to improve our website and plugin.
  • Legal basis: Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest).
  • Opt-out: You may object to data collection.

4. Security Techniques (Cloudflare Turnstile)

To protect our website against abuse (e.g., spam bots during account creation or form submissions), we use the service “Cloudflare Turnstile” provided by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA.

  • How it works: Cloudflare Turnstile analyzes technical signals from the device and browser (including IP address, TLS fingerprint, user agent information, and, where applicable, mouse movements and dwell time) to determine whether an action originates from a human or an automated program. Unlike classic captchas, Turnstile generally does not require active user interaction.
  • Data processing: The data collected for this analysis is transmitted to and processed on Cloudflare’s servers. Cloudflare states that it cannot directly identify individuals from these signals.
  • Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the security and functional operation of our website) or your consent, where such consent has been obtained (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
  • Third-country transfer: As Cloudflare is headquartered in the USA, personal data (in particular the IP address) may be transferred to the USA as part of this processing. To safeguard this transfer, Standard Contractual Clauses of the EU Commission have been agreed with Cloudflare.
5. Social Media

We maintain profiles on social networks to communicate with our users and provide information about our plugin. The platforms used are:

When you visit these pages via links on our website, a connection is established with the servers of the respective provider. The provider may collect and analyse data (e.g. IP address, browser data). We have no influence over the extent of data collected by the respective provider.

6. Retention Period

We retain your data for as long as necessary for the respective purpose:

  • User accounts and tickets: For as long as the account remains active, or until deletion upon request, or after 2 years of inactivity.
  • Analytics data (Matomo/Google Analytics): Depending on configuration, typically up to 14 months for Analytics, anonymised.
  • Server log files: Deleted after 7 days.

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Rectification of inaccurate data
  • Erasure of your data (“right to be forgotten”)
  • Restriction of data processing
  • Objection to processing
  • Data portability
